<p>The Above Landing Pages are perfect examples of NIGHT/DAY, if you currently don’t have a landing page, then you are missing out on all the action. If you do, you probably have ventured off into internet marketing and you actually are headed in the right direction, with the right concept, and with the proper tool to generate enough leads for your business to grow. <em>HOWEVER!…..</em></p>
<p>The question lies, “Is your page optimized to turn views to leads” to be honest 99% of those marketing online have no idea that they are marketing it wrong, have no idea that they are essentially duplicating the wrong methods via “Replicated Marketing Systems”.</p>
<p>I used facebooks page as a great landing page example because well it is, it leaves the user 1 thing to do and that is JOIN!</p>
<p>The bad example landing page is awfully too long for even my image capture tool! and honestly provides too much information, too much hype, and too much distraction. What often happens is the user loses sight of the fact that you want them to request information and are unfortunately spending too much time questioning the genuine nature of the marketing ploy! makes sense ?</p>
<p>Good Landing Pages…</p>
<ul>
<li>Lack navigation and other extraneous elements so the focus is strictly on the product and the pitch, or registration.</li>
<li>Opens the page with a strong, benefit-rich headline that speaks directly to the reader’s self-interest.</li>
<li>Strays from the “I” and uses a lot more “you.” (See how the I made 250K in my first 12 months is defeating from the beginning, the landing page isn’t about your success, or your great story, it’s about them and making that decision to inquire for more information</li>
<li>Line of text in red, bold or plain, is very hard to read and subconsciously, the mind associates red with RED X mark, we are trained since grade school to recognize red to annotate an error that big fat “F” is often in red, so red does not have a good stigma in terms of marketing . Use red sparingly and use a deep blue for heads and subheads.</li>
<li>Refrain from talking too much about yourself, or that cool video of you living the “LIFE”, we all do come equipped with built in bull-shit-o-meters, and such a promotion of lavish lifestyle leads to many more skeptics than believers, You want to make them a believer yes, but you want their name and contact info first. Let the selling ensue on the phone call or training call, not via a website.</li>
<li>Essentially you want your page to look more like a survey than an ad, fully equipped with a very simple to use in your face form, that doesn’t compete for attention with your cool video, or with your hyped message, or near contract style life story, the goal is to ask your prospect “would you like to make money from home?”, and allow them to fill out the form, very simple, very basic.</li>
</ul>
<p>Imagine a billboard meant to be just an ad, decided to list every single specification of that cool new sports car, well no one would care to look simply because they are focused on DRIVING, just as your Prospect is focused on surfing, and FAST, the objective is to make them want that super cool new sports car, or business opportunity with a streamlined message. Give it to them with professional graphics great headline 3 bullet points and a form to fill, simple concise and well your mail box will be meeting its qouta everyday.</p>
<p>Remember your page is an AD not an autobiography! So when creating your landing page, think of that cool car posted above your interstate on ramp, All you see is the car, the price, and the response typically is “I WANT THAT” This is all the auto-manufacturers need you to say, a sweet simple science. And this is what you need to duplicate!</p>
